Amwaj started as a specialized cartographic production house focusing on the production of guide maps for the main cities in the UAE.The founders of Amwaj participated in the design and production of the main mapping publications of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its major cities (1991 to mid 1996).They also led the automation of map production procedures in one of the leading cartographic production bureaus in the region by implementing latest technologies available that time.
